Take a glance at this striking Mustang! on the lot now is one eye-catching Ford, a 1965 Ford Mustang that is impossible to miss in any setting. This one is especially nice, with a functional hood scoop and plenty of options that are friendly to its driver. When the Mustang was introduced in 1964, it took the world by storm. With the Mustang, Ford initiated the 'Pony Car" segment of the automotive market characterized by distinctive characteristics of a long hood and short deck. The introduction of the Mustang proved to be immensely popular, provoking a whole host of competition from cross-town rivals such as GM and Chrysler. This '65 model is one of the earlier Mustangs built, assembled in October of 1964! Powered by a "C"-code 289 C.I. V8 and an Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor, this red Ford definitely isn't hurting for power. Torque from the V8 gets to the rear axle by way of a 3-speed "Cruise-O-Matic" automatic transmission, causing the shifts on this 'Stang to be nice and linear. The bodylines on this fantastic Ford are positively beautiful and covered in brilliant bright "Rangoon Red" paint that is sure to catch eyes up and down the street. Matching that bright red paint is this Mustang's black vinyl interior, which is in fantastic shape and has bucket seats meant for comfortable cruising. Options on this mustang are power brakes, an updated AM/FM/Cassette stereo system, seatbelts, vent windows, electric wipers, a heater + defroster, and an aggressive-sounding dual exhaust system. The car rides on some fitting chrome Cragar SS wheels on top of some classic-style B.F. Goodrich RWL tires. This Mustang really is the whole package, a great example of '60s style and performance. It's sure to turn heads up and down the boulevard, and we'd like to see you behind the wheel while it does so.
