Other changes included the removal of the "FORD" from the hood, the movement of the rearview mirror from frame to windshield, and the addition of "C-Stripe" graphics to the passenger doors. Torque from that 289 gets to the pavement through the use of a 3-speed automatic transmission, shifting smoothly and quickly.
