Take a look at this green beauty! On the showroom floor now is this 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass Convertible, ready to go at a moment's notice. Where this car is being sold today is less than 100 miles from where it was bought new, spending its entire life with only three owners out in Nebraska. Fresh off a 1968 restyling, the 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass included one of the largest trim lineups of any car manufacturer at the time. Counting all trim level and body style permutations, Oldsmobile's 1970 Cutlass lineup included 15 different models! With GM tossing out the 400 cubic-inch limit for smaller cars and the 4-4-2 now coming standard with the larger 455 cubic-inch "Rocket" V8 from the big Oldsmobiles, Olds discontinued the 400 engine entirely and also offered the 455 as an option on the Cutlass, which is what this car, we believe, originally came with! This is one sweet car, propelled by a period-correct 455 C.I. V8 with aluminum heads, an Edelbrock intake, all breathing through a 4-barrel carburetor. That torque gets to the pavement through a smooth-shifting 4-speed automatic transmission, ensuring effortless and linear power output. The green metallic paint on this Olds shines brilliantly in the sun, done to a high standard 25 years ago and still being a showstopper today. This Cutlass has an interior that is mostly original and in excellent condition, with new carpeting, rock-solid floors and updated gauges that work well with this car's color scheme. This Olds comes equipped with power steering, Wilwood power front disc brakes, a tilt steering wheel, a new tan convertible top, "Dual Sport" mirrors, an updated Kenwood AM/FM/CD stereo system, air conditioning, an updated gauge cluster, and a nice-sounding dual exhaust system. The car rides on a great set of Uniroyal blackwall tires on top of a classy offering of chrome, aluminum-forged "Weld EVO" wheels. This '70 Olds Cutlass is one beautiful drop-top with a ton of torque, making it very fast and a lot of fun to drive. We shouldn't have to tell you that it's just itching for the chance to get back out onto the road, and we hope you'll be the one behind the wheel when it goes.
