This 1970 Chevrolet El Camino is one sweet ride. Introduced in 1959, the El Camino was GM's response to the Ford Ranchero, another light utility truck that was brought to market in 1957. The 3rd-Generation El Camino, of which this example represents, was longer than previous generations and was based off of the Chevelle station wagon. 1970 models in particular are unique, as they are the only model year of the new 1970-1972 restyling that featured dual headlights. This example is powered by a screaming, 502 C.I. GM Crate Engine putting out massive horsepower through a Th400 automatic transmission (professionally built by TSI Transmission Specialties) to the 12 Bolt Eaton posi rear end with 3:42 gears. The engine, transmission and rear end were built to handle the power this badass muscle car possesses. According to the previous owner there is only about 1,000 miles on the GM Crate Motor, The Built Transmission & Eaton Rear end. This El Camino also comes equipped with some nice suspension upgrades such as Global West tubular Upper and lower control arms, full ladder bars & a Flaming River Gearbox. This is one fun, fast & Badass El Camino that is ready to put a smile on the face of whoever is lucky enough to be the next owner!
