What we've got on the lot now is a real looker. This 1969 Pontiac GTO is the real deal, with stunning silver paint and signature black-and-orange GTO pinstripe decals. This is also an authentic GTO, sporting the signature "42" code right in the VIN numbers. Pontiac's GTO basically invented the muscle car segment of the 1960s, fitting a large engine into a lightweight frame for a ridiculous amount of speed. By 1969, the GTO had become one of the industry's biggest sellers. The 1969 model eliminated the front door vent windows, had a slight grille and taillight revision, moved the ignition key from the dashboard to the steering column, and revised the gauge faces from a steel blue color to black. The original 400 C.I. V8 that came in this GTO has been swapped for an older 389 C.I. V8 from a 1965-1966 GTO, breathing fire through a 4-barrel carburetor. All that torque meets the pavement through a 3-speed automatic transmission, allowing for quick, seamless shifting and power delivery. The exterior is simply stunning, with silver metallic paint that has been buffed to a beautiful shine and complimented by GTO black-and-orange pinstriping. The interior is just as nice, with black vinyl trim and bucket seats that are perfect for cruising. In addition, a woodgrain-trimmed center console is available for added convenience! Options on this fantastic '69 Pontiac include power steering, power brakes, front disc brakes, an aftermarket "GT" steering wheel, an updated AM/FM digital radio, underdash performance gauges, seatbelts, and an aggressive-sounding dual exhaust system. The car rides on some chrome 15" PMD wheels on top of a classy set of B.F. Goodrich RWL tires for a factory-fresh look. This GTO is looking for a new home, and we think it would look fantastic sitting in your garage.
