What we've got here is a real headturner. This here is an absolute showstopper of a car, a 1970 Ford Mustang Mach-1 that's ready to burn rubber at the turn of a key! This one is the real-deal, an authentic Mach-1 with a thorough restoration that includes an overhauled engine with new aluminum heads, working factory A/C, and a completely rebuilt Ford "C-6" automatic transmission. Powered by a redone 351 C.I. "Cleveland" V8 engine breathing through a functional "Shaker" hood intake and a 4-barrel carburetor, this Mach-1 sure is mean. Torque gets to the pavement through the use of the aforementioned rebuilt Ford "C-6" 3-speed automatic transmission, which shifts smoothly and seamlessly. The exterior bright red paint still looks wet laid out over laser-straight bodylines, a paintjob which fits the very definition of "show-quality" perfectly. The chrome brightwork looks fantastic, and the black Mach-1 decals stand out sharply against that red paint. The interior is just as striking as the exterior, with comfortable black vinyl bucket seats awaiting the driver and passengers. The interior also features new gauges, a characteristic "tuck & roll" seat pattern, and an old-school cool woodgrain dashboard trim. This '70 Mach-1 is packed with options, including power steering, power brakes, front disc brakes, working factory A/C, a vintage-style AM/FM/Cassette stereo, a functional "Shaker" hood intake, newer aftermarket AutoMeter gauges, "Dual-Sport" mirrors, a remote driver's-side mirror, a functional rim-blow horn, rear window louvers, and an aggressive-sounding dual exhaust system. The car rides on some B.F. Goodrich RWL tires over shiny chrome Magnum 500 wheels for a true period-correct look! This '70 Mustang Mach-1 runs and drives even better than it looks, which is really saying something because this Mustang looks like the stuff of dreams. It's ready to go at a moment's notice, and all it needs now is someone to get it back out on the road.
