When the terms "Big Block" and "Chevelle" are put together, a tire-melting combination is pretty much assured. That's the case with this beautiful 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle, which drops an absolutely-massive Chevrolet crate big-block under the hood and combines it with a stance that offers both style and performance at the same time. Powered by an absolute behemoth of an engine, the 454 C.I. crate V8 under this Chevelle's hood breathes through a 4-barrel carburetor and makes a beautiful sound when you put your foot to the throttle. Torque is stomped into the pavement through the use of a modern 4L60E 4-speed automatic transmission which shifts smoothly, and the wheels are turned through a limited-slip Ford 9" rear end with a custom 4-link setup. The exterior of this Chevelle is bathed in a brilliant "Cortez Silver", which gleams in the sun after being buffed to a brilliant shine. It pairs excellently to the chrome brightwork and the black decal rally stripes, which add some extra muscular flair to a car that already has plenty of it! Opening the twin doors reveals a stunning black vinyl interior, complete with SS trim, comfy bucket seats, and a full center console for added convenience. Being the muscular intimidator that it is, this '70 Chevy has plenty of options. They include power steering, 4-wheel disc brakes, custom front & rear suspension, aftermarket heads, custom valve covers, an aluminum radiator with dual pusher fans, "Doug's" aluminum headers, functional cowl induction, a tilt steering wheel, SS trim and gauges, a "Horseshoe" shifter, under-dash aux. gauges, a heater + defroster, a vintage-style AM/FM digital radio, a factory-style tachometer, dual chrome mirrors, hood pins, and an aggressive-sounding Flowmaster dual exhaust system. The car owes its stance to staggered black U.S. Mag wheels, 18" in the front and 20" in the rear. Those wheels ride on Continental ExtremeContact tires, which provide optimal grip! This Chevelle runs and drives even better and even angrier than it looks, which is really saying something because this Chevelle really does look badass. It's waiting to tear up the streets at the turn of a key, and it would look great in your driveway.
