Oldsmobile's legendary Cutlass is one of the best examples of GM's muscle car glory days, with their characteristic low profile, wide stance, and flowing bodylines. This 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Convertible is no different, but it's the history behind this car that makes it truly special. A 1-owner Olds since new, this '72 Cutlass Supreme is in absolutely fantastic condition both inside and out. Additionally, with only 96,731 believed-to-be original miles shown on the odometer, this '72 Olds cannot wait to get back out on the road. Powered by a numbers-matching 350 C.I. Oldsmobile V8 breathing through a 4-barrel carburetor, this '72 Cutlass fits the very definition of "muscle cruiser". Torque is put to the pavement through a 3-speed automatic transmission equipped with a Hurst "Dual Gate" shifter, which allows for smooth shifting as it runs through the gears seamlessly. The exterior's laser-straight bodylines are a sight to behold, and so is the paintjob that covers them. "Matador Red" is the hue that is spread across this Oldsmobile's curvy quarterpanels, a show-quality job in every sense that is complimented excellently by the "Cameo White" rally stripes that run the length of this Cutlass's long hood and rear deck. A power white convertible top matches the rally stripes allowing for an open-air experience, and with a glass-back rear window, it's in fantastic shape. The floors, frame, trunk and jambs are all also rock-solid and are in great condition! Opening this Cutlass's twin doors reveals a stunningly clean white vinyl interior, complete with comfy bucket seats, a full center console, and plenty of woodgrain trim for some extra luxury feel. As the "Cutlass Supreme" trim level, this Cutlass was loaded from the factory with options. These include power steering, power brakes, front disc brakes, a power convertible top, a power trunk release, factory A/C, a Hurst "Dual Gate" shifter, an original AM/FM radio, factory gauges, a driver's-side chrome mirror, a full center console, and a mean-sounding 442-style dual exhaust system. The car rides on a beautiful set of color-matched 15" Oldsmobile steel wheels over thin whitewall tires for a factory-fresh look that makes this Cutlass appear as if it just drove out of 1972! With only 96k miles on the odometer, a convertible top, and a powerful V8 under the hood, this '72 Olds runs and drives like a dream. There aren't too many Cutlasses out there that have the pedigree that this one has, and with its gorgeous color combination and correct drivetrain, it sure is a special one! You're not going to want to let this one pass you by.
